Walking on Sunshine.

This is the first antler sculpture from the market fire that I’ve finished restoring. While the dancer is now smoke-smell free, I started fresh with the base. I used a new(vintage) frame and finished it with a gold leaf border. Now it seems to be kicking up its heels in the sunshine #☀️

The dancer is carved from reindeer antler. The frame is 8” x 10”.

At this time I don’t have a wall at the Farmer’s Market to hang it on. So for the time being, larger wall pieces will be on display in my tiny gallery. Let me know if you’d like to come out and see it and look around the workshop. #bonecarving #antlerart #dancerart #carvedbone
