I don’t know how I got started carving tree frogs in antler, but I am  somewhat amazed when I go through old sketch books and see how many I have carved in the last 30 plus years.

Climbing frogs, hanging frogs, single frogs, pairs of frogs, trios of frogs and once because I had the right piece of anther four frogs on a tree from the same piece of antler.  There has been “Family Tree”, “Corporate Ladder” and the trio with Santa hats called the  “Mistletoe Toads”. I traded a pair of frogs for a set of fancy screen doors, traded a frog for a stone sculpture, and once traded a frog sculpture for a month at a beach front cottage.
